Little Shining Stars ELC is a family owned service with many years combined experience and knowledge of the education and care for young children.

Educational Programs

Little Shining Stars ELC has a play based, emergent curriculum guided by the national Early Years Learning Framework and is also strongly influenced by Montessori, Steiner and the Reggio Emilia approaches to early years education.

Our programs support school readiness skills, well-being, connection to the world, independence and a sound foundation for later academic achievement. We have a nature play program and link in with local kindergartens and schools to ensure smooth transitions.

Our Centre

We provide a high quality service offering:

• Full day and morning/afternoon half day sessions
• On the day availability for shift work/casual work families
• All meals are provided including vegetarian and special diets
• Educators from a variety of cultural backgrounds to support children’s sense of belonging
• Qualified and professional educators that understand the needs of the children and their families
• Kindergarten program
• Large indoor/outdoor areas
• Free parenting support classes by a registered trainer

Little Shining Stars ELC is close to public transport and major roads. We are a short distance from Klemzig Primary School and Kindergarten, opposite Klemzig Recreation Reserve.

Centre Open Hours

Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 6.30pm.
