Cool Frogs Early Childhood Education is an exciting new childcare centre in Adelaide’s southern suburb of Christie Downs.

As a family owned centre with over 50 years combined early childhood knowledge and experience, we provide a caring and nurturing family environment and strive to create a ‘home away from home’ for all our families and their children.

Our focus is to provide care and education to all children to enable them to achieve greatness and achieve their dreams. We recognise that children are the foundation for a prosperous future and an integral part of our community.

We aim to develop lifetime friendships with children, their families and amongst families at the entre, to help build a support network that goes beyond our years at the centre and carries forward with the children and their families throughout their life.

Our Education

Cool Frogs Early Childhood Education offers an education program that is in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). This is a national framework, which aims to extend and enhance children’s learning from birth to school age and is delivered by our qualified teachers and trained educators who are passionate about early childhood education and work alongside each family to develop and build on a trusting relationship.

The educational program is play-based, encouraging learning through play and imagination, whilst providing children an opportunity to take risks and explore in a safe and friendly environment. By learning to ‘Become’, we help children to find their identities, gain knowledge, understanding and learning as they grow. Through the principles of ‘Belonging and Being’ children know where and with whom they belong and are able to make meaning of the world whilst being encouraged to imagine and build relationships with others in a fun and friendly environment.

We have a focus on community engagement and we work with local community organisations including the surrounding Primary School and Kindergarten, ensuring that all children attending our centre are school ready and can experience a more harmonious transition from childcare to school.

Our Centre

Located in Adelaide’s southern suburbs, our centre is close to public transport and offers easy access to all major roads connecting Christie Downs with the Adelaide CBD and metropolitan Adelaide. The centre is located opposite the Christie Downs Primary School and Kindergarten and offers easy parking for parent drop offs.

Our centre offers the following:

• Modern purpose built facilities
• Spacious indoor and outdoor play areas
• Brand new fitout including bedding, furniture, toys and play equipment
• 2 large outdoor play areas
• 12 hour a day care, casual bookings, with all meals, nappies and educational program to meet the needs of Kindergarten
• An open door policy, welcoming all families
• Smaller age groups, allowing educators to focus on development of children with smaller age gaps
• Operate 12 hours per day, Monday to Friday and provide permanent spots and casual bookings
• Quality education program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Our operating hours will be 6.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
