Amazing Kids Children Centre

Amazing Kids Children Centre is located at 183 Unley Road, Unley (a 5-minute drive to the Adelaide CBD). It is situated opposite Unley Shopping Centre and next to Unley City Council, library and historical St Augustine’s Anglican Church. The centre sits in a beautiful old blue stone building with high ceilings, cathedral style windows and spacious rooms that used to be a primary school years ago.

Amazing Kids Children Centre has a capacity for up to 70 children and provides care services from 7am to 6pm, 5 days a week to children from 2 to school age. All children are engaged to play, learn, develop, grow and create at our centre through our team of dedicated staff who are passionate, patient and professional to nurture children’s development, develop their potential and prepare children for their transition into school.

Majority of our educators are bilingual in English and Mandarin. Therefore, our children will be provided the opportunities to learn another language and explore its culture. Other than specially designed bilingual program, we provide 5 nutritious and healthy meals daily by our professional chef.

About the Centre

Our children’s learning is inspired by the philosophy of Reggio Emilia, where children are viewed as strong, capable and resilient, and are rich with wonder and knowledge. Children’s curiosity is fostered to support their understanding of their world and who they are in it. Children are encouraged by their educators to explore and develop their problem-solving skills through a variety of different learning opportunities.

We offer three spacious indoor learning rooms:

Faith Room – for children aged 2-3 years

Hope Room – for children aged 3-4 years

Love Room – for children aged 4 - school age.

We divided children by age groups, but we respect every child’s individual development so that children would overlap into different rooms. Children will be provided opportunities to explore natural play, learn about sustainability and recycling, and the world they live in through exploring our local community.

In Amazing Kids Children Centre:

We respect every child and try to help him/her develop confidence and a sense of his/her own worth.

• We seek to develop in each child an awareness of a living God revealed in the Bible who loves us. We wish to help each child find a sense of purpose in his/her life under God.

• We provide a supportive environment and encourage our children to participate in age appropriate activities and experiences. We urge them to have a go, to try things, to take risk and to learn from their mistakes.

• We work with parents and welcome their views; try to understand and fulfil their hopes for their children.

• We welcome children and families of their faiths. We respect every family and celebrate our diversity.

Centre Open Hours

Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

Morning - 10:00am – 11:00am

Afternoon - 3:30pm – 4:30pm
